What is The Project 100?
100 authors. 400 words each. 1 Collaborative Book on “Project 100: Marketing in the Social Media Era”.
Here are the details:
I read an interesting blog on The Age of Conversation, a collaborative book writing effort where 100 authors each contribute one page to the book. They are already on their second book, The Age of Conversation 2. I think this is a fantastic idea, and it got me thinking: Could I possibly co-ordinate a similar project for marketers? Well, why not give it a try…
So here is my challenge:
- Get 100 authors who are leaders in the Social Media/ Non-Trad Marketing
- The Topic/ Theme: “Marketing in the Social Media Era. Building Dynamic Consumer Relationships.”
- 400 words Limit. Each author can include diagrams, images etc.
- Publish the book on www.lulu.com in a Hardcover, Softcover and ebook version – so you can order copies in a format that works best for you.
- All profits go to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure. I am not doing this for the money. I am doing it because I think its cool, I am interested in what marketing leaders are thinking and I believe in Susan G. Komen.

I am a publicist currently representing 9 authors and a small business doing Web 2.0 marketing – virtual book tours, blog marketing, networking, social networks, etc.
I’d like to be a part of this project. I’m a market and brand analyst, former communication consultant and brand junkie, with a social media presence in several platforms – studying mass movements (digital or analogic) is my thing.
